« BackHSE investigating two Irish cases of Zika virus

The first confirmed Irish cases of the Zika virus are being investigated by the HSE.

The WHO’s declared it an international public health emergency – and a number of other European countries have also reported cases.

It’s normally transmitted through mosquitoes but doctors in Texas have confirmed one instance of sexual transmission
