« BackHIQA report on St John of God Services Kerry houses mainly positive

A HIQA report on two community living houses run by St John of God Services Kerry has been mainly positive apart from one moderate non-compliance.

The non-compliance raised two issues under residents’ rights, dignity and consultation, saying they failed to comply with regulatory requirements.

The first was that the eight residents weren’t adequately consulted and informed with regards to the change in their transport provision; centre management listed four actions they’d take to rectify this.

The second non-compliance related to a written complaint by residents not being responded to within the 30 day required timeframe; management listed three actions they’ll take.
