« BackHealy-Rae defends decision to ask Minister over 100 questions in one day

hospital bed trolley from PixabayMichael Healy-Rae has defended his decision to ask the Health Minister over a hundred questions in the Dáil in just one day last week.

The Kerry Independent TD says he’s determined to get answers for his constituents who want to know why they’ve been left waiting for medical treatments.

TDs posing questions to Ministers costs €200 on average, so Michael Healy-Rae’s 115 inquiries could have cost around €23,000.

Speaking on Radio Kerry, Deputy Healy-Rae wouldn’t apologise for asking questions on constituents’ behalves.

Kerry Fianna Fáil TD John Brassil disagrees with Deputy Healy-Rae, saying TDs can ask the HSE these health-related questions directly.
