« BackGroup opposed to North Kerry windfarm willing to bring fight to Europe

wind turbineA group opposed to a wind farm development in North Kerry says they will bring their fight to Europe if needs be.

The group, who are concerned about the height of the turbines, has spent 20,000 euro to date campaigning against the project.

An Bord Pleanala has overturned a decision by Kerry County Council to refuse permission for the ten turbine farm in Ballyhorgan South and East, Irramore, Lissahane and Muckenagh.

The windfarm is being developed, subject to conditions, by Stacks Mountain Windfarm Limited.
