« BackFunding for west Kerry GAA club used at Irish language college

Funding has been provided to a GAA club in west Kerry to allow its facilities to be used occasionally as an Irish language college.

The Minister of State at the Department of Gaeltacht Affairs, Joe McHugh has announced the allocation of €7,500 for Lispole GAA Club.Minister McHugh said the grant will enable the club to install a fire alarm system and emergency lighting.These works are essential to ensuring that the facility can be used as an Irish-language college.
The announcement has been welcomed by Senator Marie Moloney and Minister Jimmy Deenihan.
