« BackFour people killed in bomb blasts across Thailand

Thailand flagThe Irish Embassy in Bangkok says there’s no indication that any Irish citizens have been injured in the Thailand attacks.

A string of bomb blasts there have left four people dead.

It’s not yet known who’s behind the attacks, but they appear to have been focused on tourist destinations.

Twin bombs hit the holiday resort of Hua Hin late last night and again this morning.

While a further two bombs were planted on the popular tourist island of Phuket earlier, with another two in the southern towns of Trang and Surat Thani.

The Royal Thai Police don’t believe the bombs have anything to do with terrorism.
