Bishop of Kerry, Dr Bill Murphy
Archdeacon Murphy, who’s 90, says shortly after the train left Mallow, a man punched his brother in the face.
He says it appeared the alleged assailant, a man in his 30s, was drunk and his brother wasn’t hurt. Killarney Gardaí are aware of the incident.
Archdeacon Murphy has told Radio Kerry News that the man made false allegations, that the retired Bishop hadn’t dealt properly with investigations relating to the Diocese of Kerry.

The full interview with Archdeacon Michael Murphy will be broadcast on Kerry Today after the 9 o’clock news.
