Five people have been sent forward for trial on charges arising from a major drugs haul in Fenit and Barrow last year.
Tralee District Court previously heard €200,000 worth of drugs were seized by Gardai last November.
34 year old Rafal Fiszer of 20 Academy Square Navan, Co Meath is facing 22 charges including cultivation of cannabis, possession of the drug for sale or supply, possession of amphetamine and cannabis herb and having false id cards, driving licences and bank cards.
30 year old David Lidwa of Barrow House, Barrow West and 36 year old Lukasz Duleba of 2A Lighthouse Village, Fenit are facing five charges each including cultivation of cannabis, possession of the drug for sale or supply. One charge says the drugs had a market value of over €13,000. 26 year old Tina Lidwa of Barrow House, Barrow West is charge with permitting the manufacture of cannabis at Barrow House. 38 year old Bruno Annea of 35 Lavalley, Darglin Road, Bray, Co Wicklow is facing a single cultivation charge at Barrow House.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on dates in September, October and November last year. The book of evidence was served on all five accused at Tralee District Court and Judge James O’Connor sent the group forward for trial to the next sittings of Tralee Circuit Court next month.
