The fifth Kerry County Clean Up is to take place next month.
The aim of the initiative on Saturday the 2nd of April is to pick up litter from main roads around Kerry, in an attempt to keep the environment clean for locals and visitors.
The event is facilitated by KWD Recycling with support from Kerry County Council, Kerry County Board, An Taisce, and the Department of Environment.
Last year 3,200 volunteers collected over 60 tonnes of litter.
Local communities and groups are being urged to get involved again this year; they can register and order a free Clean Up Day Pack on www.countycleanup.com
