« BackFerris says wait for youth mental health services in Kerry and Cork unacceptable

Kerry and Cork have the highest waiting lists for child and adolescent mental health services.

The data shows that there are 552 children and teenagers in the area covering Kerry and Cork.

The majority (223) are waiting up to three months but 68 patients are on the list for over a year.

Deputy Martin Ferris says the figures are a grave concern and called on the Government to increase staffing and services.
