Sinn Féin deputy Martin Ferris says he does not believe the IRA was involved in the murder of Kevin McGuigan or Gerard ‘Jock’ Davison.
The Kerry North-West Limerick TD, a former member of the Provisional IRA, says the organisation has left the stage, is gone away and is no longer in existence. Deputy Ferris was responding to claims that the IRA still exists – claims which are threatening to bring down the power-sharing structures in the North.
