Cian's Remembrance Walk - in memory of 19-year-old Cian O'Donoghue from Glenflesk who drowned in Killarney on July 19th, 2013The family of a Glenflesk teenager who drowned in Killarney is holding a fund-raising event for the local search and rescue unit.

19-year-old Cian O’Donoghue drowned in Lough Léin two years ago.

This afternoon, his parents, Billy and Joanie, and his siblings have organised a walk in his memory to help raise funds for Killarney Water Rescue.

Everyone’s invited to take part in Cian’s Remembrance Walk.

Cian’s father Billy says people are asked to gather at the entrance to the Demesne  opposite the Cathedral in Killarney from 4 o’clock this afternoon.

The walk itself will then begin at 4.30pm.
