Killarney libraryAn exhibition commemorating the Easter Rising is currently running at Killarney Library.

‘Kerry 1916 from the Archives’ is an exhibition which displays a collection of materials from the Kerry Library archive.

The exhibition includes extracts from the Kerry Library newspaper collection including; The Kerryman, the Kerry Evening Post, the Kerry Weekly Reporter and the Kerry Sentinel.

Sixteen information panels describe the major events that happened in Kerry, while there are a number of original documents on display for the first time.

Admission to the exhibition, which runs until Saturday 1st October, is free.
