« BackDutch supertrawler situated off Kerry coast

A 400-foot super-trawler is currently situated off the Kerry coast.
Dutch vessel the WILLEM VAN DER ZWAN is currently to the north of the Dingle Peninsula.

Super trawlers have enormous capacity and there has been numerous calls for their fishing activities to be monitored and curtailed.
Greenpeace have previously protested the Willen Van Der Zwan’s presence in African waters, painting the word ‘PLUNDER’ on its hull.
Kerry TD Martin Ferris has called on the Government to take action.
