Brexit has brought with it a significant drop in buyers from the UK seeking to purchase property in Kerry.
That’s according to Dingle-based auctioneer John Diony O’Connor who says, since the UK voted to leave the European Union, he has seen a decrease in property buyers from Great Britain.
Mr O’Connor said the market for property buyers from the UK in Kerry had always been buoyant – but now there is a palpable air of uncertainty.
He said this is also true of the US market – with American buyers holding off purchasing property in Kerry until after the presidential elections.
Meanwhile, in relation to the current market in the county, John says he has never before seen such a limited supply of property in West Kerry.
