A roadshow focusing on raising awareness about dementia will arrive in Tralee tomorrow morning.
The innovative Dementia Elevator Programme is led by Dublin City University’s Dr. Kate Irving and supported by the HSE.
It will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about dementia and find out more about local resources and initiatives to support those with the condition.
Presentations, practical exhibits and interactive workshops will be delivered by the Elevator team and the programme is free to attend.
Events in Tralee include a General Public Dementia Awareness meeting at The Square at 10 am, family carers workshop in Rosemary Day Centre, Boherbee, at 10.30 am and a workshop for Health and Social Care Professionals at the HSE HQ in Rathass at 10.30 am.
