« BackCouncillor hopes World War One memorial wont be vandalised again

Sam Locke 1A Kerry County Councillor says he hopes a World War One memorial will not be vandalised again.

Independent Councillor Sam Locke was speaking ahead of the unveiling of the 226 names of the Royal Munster Fusiliers who lost their lives during The Great War.

Councillor Locke says the addition of the names will bring added significance to the monument, and he hopes this will be enough to deter further vandalism.

The monument in Ballymullen was sprayed with red paint in the past, however, Councillor Locke says he thinks it will not happen again.
