A Kerry councillor believes the proposed realignment of the N86 road will now proceed following a judgement handed down by the courts yesterday.
The Commercial Court denied An Taisce leave to appeal an earlier decision to give the go-ahead for works on the main road between Tralee and Dingle.
It’s not yet clear whether An Taisce will take the matter any further following a lengthy legal debacle.
Cllr Seamus Cosaí Fitzgerald says the N86 road is not fit for purpose and the €65 million works scheme needs to go ahead as soon as possible.
