If you don’t have a voice at Government level, it’s very hard to make a case from the back-benches.
That’s according to West Kerry Fine Gael Cllr Seamus Cosaí Fitzgerald, who is hoping party colleague Brendan Griffin will be appointed a Minister of State today.
It’s been mooted the Keel native is in line for a junior ministry in possibly Shane Ross’s Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport.
It’s expected Ministers of State will be announced this afternoon.
