« BackCouncillor calls for more flood relief works at Glenflesk bridge

Bridge at GlenfleskA Kerry County Councillor is calling for more works to be carried at a bridge in Glenflesk to prevent further flooding.

Structural measures for Glenflesk have been deemed not cost beneficial by the CFRAM survey despite severe flooding in the area.

The bridge close to Glenflesk Church has three eyes; works were carried out on one of those but not enough has been done according to Cllr Niall Kelleher.
