Meeting planners from the United States – who bring international business worth over €210m annually to Ireland – are today visiting Kerry.
The visit is taking place ahead of Connect16 – Ireland’s largest ever showcase for the meetings and events sector – this Wednesday in Dublin’s RDS.
The group will participate in site visits to a number of Kerry’s hotels including the Europe Hotel and the Killarney Park Hotel.
The group will also visit the Gap of Dunloe, the Killarney Lakes and Ross Castle, Muckross House Farm and Lord Brandon’s Cottage.
Head of Business Tourism with Fáilte Ireland, Miriam Kennedy said they’re confidence this experience in Kerry will translate into solid visitor numbers and increased revenue next year.
