Industrial action at IT Tralee may cause undue stress and does not promote a positive image between staff and students.
That’s according to IT Tralee Students’ Union which has expressed anger at the decision of TUI members not to be in attendance to give feedback to students after exam results this Friday.
The decision has arisen from an industrial dispute with the institution over the Student Complaint Procedure.
In response, the Teachers Union of Ireland say members have identified their position and if management are in agreement, anything can change between now and Friday – the day students are due to meet with lecturers to discuss exam results.
