Thousands of brave swimmers have dried off and warmed up after the traditional Christmas Day swims in Kerry.
Events took place in Kilmoyley, Dundag Beach, Killarney, Cromane, Ballyheigue, Cuas Crom, Caherciveen, Portmagee, Derrynane, Banna and Ballybunion.
One of the biggest swims attracted hundreds to Fenit again this year which is to raise funds for the local lifeboat service.
Mike O’Connor is Fundraising Chairman for Tralee/Fenit RNLI.
He says this is one of the most important days to generate revenue to sustain the service.
