« BackCentury-old clock stolen from Dick Mack’s of Dingle is located

An antique clock, stolen at the weekend from one of Kerry’s most famous pubs, has been Dick Mack's Clockfound.

The clock, which dates back to the 1800s, was taken off the wall from Dick Mack’s pub in Dingle on Saturday night. It was located earlier this afternoon about 200 yards from the pub, and Gardai say no arrests have yet been made. The clock was originally acquired by Tom McDonnell, the father of pub founder Dick Mack, when he worked as Station Master of the Dingle Railway.

It’s been hanging on the wall of the pub for over a century.
Ron McDonnell, a member of the family which owns Dick Mack’s,  says Gardai in Dingle made great efforts to track down the whereabouts of the clock.
He believes a  group of men visiting the pub on Saturday night, might be responsible for taking it:
