« BackCaution urged for Kerry motorists as frost and fog forecast

Kerry motorists are being advised to use caution as frost and fog are again forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning.

Met Éireann has issued a status orange warning with fog expected to be dense overnight and to linger in some areas until noon tomorrow.

A status yellow low temperature warning indicates there’ll be a severe frost, with lowest temperatures of 0 to -5 degrees Celsius.

Kerry County Council is asking motorists to drive with extra care, to use fog lights, and allow additional time for journeys.

Pedestrians and cyclists are being asked to wear high-visibility clothing, use lighting, and to take due care when out and about.
