According to the Irish Times Chorley’s auctioneers in Cheltenham says the map will go under the hammer tomorrow with an estimate of £1,500-£2,000 .
Included in Casement’s treasure were gold and silver. There were also pistols, gold cuff links, and a “flag of the Irish Republic”, which were divided up among his captors.
Casement landed on Banna Strand on Good Friday 1916 with arms from Germany to aid the Rising.
He was later captured, tried for treason and hanged by the British.
