Cork university hospitalCancer nurses at Cork University Hospital will begin a work to rule today.

From 8 o’clock this morning staff in the Oncology/Radiotherapy ward are prioritising nursing care and withdrawing from office duties.

Their union the INMO says there aren’t enough nurses employed in the hospital.

But they have promised that patients, many of whom travel from Kerry for cancer treatment, won’t be affected by their industrial action.
