« BackBrexit campaigning suspended following death of Labour MP

Jo Cox Labour MP from her TwitterCampaigning in the Brexit referendum has been suspended in the UK following the death of British Labour MP, Jo Cox.

The 41 year old mother-of-two died after she was shot and stabbed outside her constituency advice surgery in Birstall, West Yorkshire.

British Prime Minister David Cameron, US Secretary of State John Kerry and President Michael D Higgins have all paid tribute to Mrs Cox.
Mrs Cox’s husband Brendan said she would want people “to unite to fight against the hatred that killed her.”
A 52-year-old man – named locally as Tommy Mair – was arrested and remains in custody.
