A book of evidence has been served on a Polish man charged in connection with a drugs haul in Fenit and Barrow last year.
35 year Rafal Fiszer with an address at 20 Academy Square, Navan, Co Meath appeared before Tralee District Court. Last November around 200,000 euro worth of drugs were seized at two grow house operations in Fenit and Barrow. Several people have been charged in connection with the seizure. Rafal Fiszer is facing several charges arising from that drugs haul including possession of over €13,000 worth of cannabis, cultivation of the drug and possession of several false IDs, driving licenses, and debit cards. Inspector Donal Ashe told the court the book of evidence has been served on the accused but the state were not making an application to send him forward for trial as they wish to lodge one set of documents on all accused persons involved in the incident. Mr Fiszer was remanded in custody by consent and will reappear in Tralee District Court on September 9th.
Meanwhile two charges of leaving a Tralee filling station without paying for fuel against Mr Fiszer were struck out following an application by the state.
