Six of the top ten Bed and Breakfasts in Ireland are in Kerry with one Ballybunion B&B claiming the number one spot.
That’s according to global accommodation comparison site Trivago, which correlated over 175 million reviews.
Ireland’s Top Ten B&Bs have been announced as part of the hotel search site’s annual hospitality awards.
The Tides in Ballybunion took the top spot while – owner David Walsh says an accolade like this lifts the entire area:
In third place was Dingle’s Greenmount House, a B&B once frequented by Hollywood star Julia Roberts.
In fourth place is the Junction House B&B in Camp, followed in fifth by Heaton’s Guesthouse, Dingle.
Killarney’s Algret House is in at number six and in tenth place is the Brook Manor Lodge in Tralee.
With six inclusions, Kerry dominates Trivago’s Top Ten Irish B&B list – the remainder is made up by two B&Bs in Galway, one in Cork and one in Carlow.
Kerry also came out on top in the Best 3* Hotel & Guest Service category with Killarney’s Killeen House Hotel scooping top honours.
