There will be 84 hours of entertainment in The Square in Tralee over the duration of the extended Rose of Tralee International Festival but only 15 hours of this will controlled by a ticket system.
There are restrictions in place this evening from 6 for a concert taking place – but even with the restrictions, businesses that are open after 6 are not affected, they still remain open. You may just have to access them slightly differently.
There are no restrictions in place before 6 until this evening (Wednesday).
For the rest of the festival – there are no restrictions in place before 6pm tomorrow Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday.
There are no restrictions at all on Saturday.
The general public will be restricted from accessing The Square at certain times to ensure the health and safety of both the artists and spectators.
Entry to The Square during ticket-controlled times is located via the North-West corner, next to Carraig Donn, with exits located in both the north-east and south-west corners.
Access to businesses will be restricted at these times, while provisions have been made with some businesses located on the corners of The Square to have controlled public access into their premises.
The festival organisers are asking the public to cooperate with volunteers and stewards at all times.
