There’s a risk of flooding in coastal areas of Kerry.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for the area and says up to 50 millimetres of rain is expected.
Status Yellow Wind and Weather warnings are also in place for the county.
Forecasters say “unseasonably” strong winds will affect the region today.
Gusts of up to 90 kilometres per hour are possible in coastal areas.
Rough seas and heavy thundery rain are also forecast.
Motorists are also being advised to take care on Kerry roads as there are reports of fallen branches.
There is a tree on the road between Currow and Farranfore so take care if in the area.
