Around forty sheep have been killed after being attacked by dogs in West Kerry.
One farmer in the Annascaul area woke last Friday morning to find 36 of his ewes and lambs dead.
Three other neighbours had five more sheep killed in the attack.
Chair of the ICMSA’s Farm & Rural Affairs Committee Pat Rohan is a neighbour of the farmers affected.
He is urging dog owners to make sure to keep their animals under control and not allow them run loose.
