Around €3,500 has been spent on new signage as part of the re-branding of Kerry General Hospital.
The facility has been renamed University Hospital Kerry to reflect its role in the South/South West Hospital Group, which is affiliated to University College Cork.
The groups are part of the reform of the health service by Government.
The HSE says the new signage on the campus at Rathass cost approximately €3,500.
It adds that existing stocks of headed stationary will be exhausted before new stationary with the UHK logo is ordered to minimise costs.
