« Back33 communities in Kerry among 859 entries for year’s Tidy Towns

33 Kerry communities are among the 859 entries received for this year’s Tidy Towns’ competition.

Volunteers in communities throughout the county have been busy improving their towns, villages and local environments and will be eagerly anticipating the winners’ announcement later this month.

New villages and towns have joined long term entrants in the competition which has been going strong for 58 years.

The Tidy Towns competition is organised by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and is this year sponsored by SuperValu.
