84 died when a man drove a lorry at a crowd watching fireworks during Bastille celebrations.
Meanwhile, French ministers have been booed as they arrived in Nice to observe a minute’s silence in honour of those who died in the town.
A book of condolence was opened in Dublin this morning and a minute’s silence was held outside the French embassy.
President Michael D Higgins said the economic downturn played its part in the social problems in society that partly cause these violent attacks.
