« Back1916 recordings to be heard in Tralee today

Old recordings of patriots who took part in the 1916 Rising will be audible in Tralee today.

‘Voices of 1916’ will be played for the public at an event taking place in Kerry Library, Tralee at noon.
Poems by WB Yeats and Eva Gore Booth – based on 1916 and its legacy – will also be played.
The event is part of the ‘1916 to 2016 and Beyond’ project and is free to the public.
