« Back12 council owned cottages vacant for an average of 300 weeks

coast houses12 single rural cottages owned by Kerry County Council have averaged 300 weeks vacant.

The local authority says these properties will not be re-let in the foreseeable future due to various legal issues such as right of ways and site boundaries.

Eight group scheme properties which average 112 weeks vacant are being repaired and are subject to major refurbishment works.

The data was released following a question by Cllr Michael Cahill.
