There’s been an 11 per cent drop in the number of Garda Reserves in Kerry.
That’s according to figures that the Minister for Justice and Equality Frances Fitzgerald revealed in the Dáil.
They show that as of the end of May, there were 31 Garda Reserves in Kerry.
That’s a drop of one from last year, and a fall of four from 2014 – an 11 per cent decrease.
Nationally in the past years the number of Garda Reserves has fallen by 309 people or by 26 per cent.
