A new video promoting beauty spots and places of historical interest in North Kerry, has been launched online to coincide with the Star Wars premiere this Friday.
Ballybunion natives Michael Pixie O’Gorman and Tom Mulvihill, travelled all over North Kerry over the past few weeks, filming scenic areas of Ballybunion, Listowel, Ballylongford, Ballyduff and Ardfert.
Michael’s children Mike and Abbie – dressed as Star Wars characters – took part in the film, which is just under four minutes in length, and has already been widely viewed online.
Michael explains that the two are huge Star Wars fans, and he himself has a keen interest in local history.
He says that while the film will appeal to Star Wars fans, the real purpose is to promote what North Kerry has to offer:
