Community groups that want a say in forming policy for the future of the county need to ensure they are on a new register. The register with every community and voluntary group in the county is being updated at the moment. Membership of the list allows groups to elect representatives to strategic policy committees, and the County Development Bord as well as other council led structures.A similar list was put together four years ago and this latest edition will update all of the information in the county. Once complete, departments in Kerry County Council will use it when consulting on different issues. It will also be used as a resource when circulating information.
