A series of new developments at the Bons Secours Hospital in Tralee are planned over the next three years. The first of the developments is a one and a half million euro laboratory extension. It`s hoped to begin construction on the lab in May, pending planning permission.Plans for a new day surgery unit are also at an advanced stage and its hoped construction can take place next year. According to Hospital Manager Paul Garnett the Bons is lucky to have an 8 acre site adjacent to the hospital for development.
