Part Place Apartments from Google MapsThe mother of the baby boy found dead in Killarney last Sunday has expressed her thanks to the people of Kerry for their support. Eleven month old Karol Rozycki was found at apartment at Park Place in the town shortly before 6 o’clock on Sunday evening, when his mother returned from work. A man found at the scene, who’s in his 30s, believed to be a relative of the infant, and from Poland, remains in hospital with serious injuries. Baby Karol’s body will be flown to Poland tomorrow for burial on Saturday. While the airline and undertakers have waived fees in Ireland, the process will be expensive in Poland, and a fund has been set up at Ulster Bank, Killarney to cover the costs – the full details are on the Radio Kerry website and on Radio Kerry’s Facebook page. The baby’s mother Anna Rozycka is very grateful of the support she’s receiving; her friend Damian spoke to Radio Kerry today. AUDIO: [audio_player src=””]
