A number of divorces in the county are being held up because the spouses cannot be located according to the Tralee Law Centre. The solicitor in charge at the centre Carol Anne Coolican says 7 years after the introduction of divorce demand is increasing. She says one of the problems they are facing is, if a spouse cannot be located a divorce cannot be granted. She says this has happened to Kerry people who have moved abroad and also to ethnic minorities who have returned to their country of origin.
