Minute silence in schools to sympathise with Russian people

Hundreds of school children in Kerry observed a minutes silence today in remembrance of those who perished in the Russian town of Beslan. The siege was brought to a bloody end last Friday killing at least 355 people, half on them children. Principal of Scoil Mhuire in Killorglin Jerome Conway says this was the best way to allow the children convey their sympathies.
