A number of North Kerry Community Projects are welcoming the news that Social Economy Schemes will remain at their current level. Minister for Enterprise Michael Martin made the announcement at an Ibec dinner in Killarney over the weekend. According to David Fitzgibbon of North Kerry Together there are a number of schemes across the county providing a vital social service. He says cutting back on these schemes would make it impossible to attract people to rural areas.
