Minister says Government gave Shannon LNG project every support

JimmyDeenihanThe Minister for the Diaspora says the Government did everything to support the Shannon LNG project but the final decision rested with the parent company, Hess Corporation. The organisation has decided to pull out of the project to bring a liquefied natural gas terminal to the Tarbert Ballylongford landbank. Hess had spent over 50 million on the north Kerry project. The company has also pulled out of a similar plan in Boston and is moving towards the fracking industry.
