A double header in Abbeydorney forms the centrepiece of the opening round of the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Hurling Championship. Sunday June 26th will see Ballyduff play Kilmoyley at 2, followed by the meeting of Ballyheigue and St Brendans at 3:30. On the same day, at 7, it’s Causeway versus Lixnaw in Kilmoyley. Round 1 opens on Saturday June 25th, with Crotta O’Neills meeting Abbeydorney in Ballyduff at 7. Round 2 will be played over the weekend of July 10th.
