Last month the National Parks and Wildlife Service announced a cull of low land deer was to take place. However, Cllr Johnny Healy-Rae said it is not clear how many deer are to be culled as the NPWS doesn’t know how many deer are in the park. He said nobody knows who can apply to cull the animals and when they have been killed should they bury, burn or export them.
