Lunchtime Sports Update

Round 8 of the Credit Union County Senior Football League goes ahead this weekend.

Games are to take place on Saturday and Sunday.

Dublin manager Jim Gavin has confirmed that Michael Daragh Mc Auley, John Small and Philly McMahon are all over their injury issues and are availible for Sunday’s Leinster final.

Cork’s Luke Meade is out of tomorrows Bord Gais Energy Munster under 21 hurling championship semi final with Waterford in Walsh park.

According to the Irish Examiner the senior star , who featured in last Sundays Munster final win over Clare , will undergo surgery for a broken finger this week.

Meade is expected to recover in time for the All Ireland senior semi final.

Tonight Clare go to Limerick for their Munster under 21 semi final.

The Morton games takes place tonight at Santry stadium.

The event begins there at 6.
